***EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR 2022***
The HW3 is a motorcycle endurance rally that is 32 hours in duration. For 2022 the event has moved from our traditional home in Grand Junction, CO to our new home at the Best Western Grand Victorian Inn in Sayre, PA. This year’s theme is “Liberty and Justice For All” and the event runs from Friday, May 27th through Sunday, May 29th, 2022.
The HW3 is a “scavenger hunt” type rally. Riders will be sent a bonus pack a week before the rally, with a list of the bonus locations. From that list, the goal is to plan a route to bag as many bonus locations to reach finisher status. Points will be tweaked so that finisher status will be about 1150 miles. Placement in the event is based on points collected above and beyond finisher status. This is primarily a street bike event. There will be bonus options that may be on dirt roads, but nothing that cannot be safely navigated via a street bike.
Friday, May 20th: Rally packs will be sent to riders in digital format via email.
Friday, May 27th: Rider Check-in, Tech Inspection and ODO check opens at 11:00 AM and closes at 3:00 PM. Dinner Banquet is at 6:00 PM, followed by the rider meeting.
Saturday, May 28th: The rally starts at 6:00am on Saturday morning. Riders will be at their bikes and ready to line up at 5:30am to be set free by the Rally Master.
Sunday, May 29th: Riders must return to Rally Headquarters by 2:00pm on Sunday to be considered a finisher. Awards banquet is at 6 PM.
